Kent Verbeski is currently a physical educator with over 20 years of teaching and coaching experience.
He has coached at various levels throughout minor hockey, high school hockey, and Junior B, and is currently coaching in the NSU18MHL.
Hockey is his passion, and it drives his dedication to coaching youth. He was a regular attendee at Roger Neilson’s Coaches Clinics and is certified and educated in both hockey and strength & conditioning.

Throughout his 35-year coaching career, Roy Snook—a certified, educated, and experienced soccer coach—has worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels. He focuses on skill development, mental toughness, and confidence building.
Known for his supportive yet challenging coaching style, Roy believes true success comes from consistent effort, accountability, and a strong sense of teamwork.

With over 25 years of experience developing players across Canada, Dom Clamp brings a lifetime of competitive and coaching excellence to every training session. A former University of Waterloo varsity soccer standout and two-time gold medalist at the World Police and Fire Games, Dom combines elite-level experience with a deep passion for mentoring the next generation of athletes.
Having coached in British Columbia, Ontario, and now Nova Scotia, Dom has guided players at every stage—from grassroots youth to high school competition—helping athletes refine their technical skills, tactical awareness, and confidence both on and off the field.
As a certified referee, active player, and Canada Soccer Association C License coach, Dom models discipline, teamwork, and lifelong growth in sport. Dedicated to raising the standard of soccer development, Dom offers a well-rounded training approach that balances high-performance principles with an inclusive, encouraging environment—empowering every athlete to reach their full potential.

Peter Halley is a retired educator with 30 years of teaching experience. Alongside his professional career, Peter has devoted more than 32 years to coaching volleyball, becoming a highly respected leader in the Nova Scotia volleyball community.
A fully trained performance coach, Peter has worked with athletes at nearly every stage of development—including Mini/Atomics, U14, Junior High, U16, U18, High School, and Provincial teams. He is a strong believer in the learning process, athlete development, and cultivating the right mindset for success both on and off the court.
In recognition of his contributions to the sport, Peter was named Volleyball Nova Scotia Coach of the Year in 2025.
Peter remains very active in the volleyball community and currently coaches the Dartmouth High School Boys team and the U18 Boys team with the Dartmouth Volleyball Club.
Throughout his coaching career, Peter’s teams have achieved significant success. He continues to focus on developing athletes, building strong team cultures, and helping players reach their potential through discipline, mindset, and a love for the game.

Timothy Stiner has been a volleyball coach and teacher for 30 years in the Halifax area. Since beginning his teaching career in 1994, Timothy has coached at various NSSAF levels, including Junior and Senior High School programs and competitive club volleyball. He has also served on the coaching staff for Volleyball Nova Scotia’s Provincial team programs, including as an assistant coach for the Nova Scotia Men’s team at the 2017 Canada Games.
Timothy feels fortunate to have collaborated with several outstanding coaches who shared their knowledge and passion for the sport. He has enjoyed contributing to grassroots development as well as working in high-performance programs. Timothy looks forward to continuing his growth as a coach and is excited to take on a new challenge with the Saint Mary’s Huskies.
