Peter Halley is a retired educator with 30 years of teaching experience and is currently a Realtor with EXIT Realty Metro. Alongside his professional career, Peter has devoted more than 32 years to coaching volleyball, becoming a highly respected leader in the Nova Scotia volleyball community.
A fully trained performance coach, Peter has worked with athletes at nearly every stage of development, including Mini/Atomics, U14, Junior High, U16, U18, High School, and Provincial teams. He is a strong believer in the learning process, athlete development, and cultivating the right mindset for success both on and off the court.
In recognition of his contributions to the sport, Peter was named Volleyball Nova Scotia Coach of the Year by Volleyball Nova Scotia in 2025.
Peter remains very active in the volleyball community and currently coaches the Dartmouth High School Boys team and the U18 Boys team with the Dartmouth Volleyball Club.

Peter continues to focus on developing athletes, building strong team cultures, and helping players reach their potential through discipline, mindset, and a love for the game.
